This Christmas season emerge many different recipes and all of them very appetizing. But in each recipe there are numerous ways to sew too. One of my favorites this season is the king cake, which I love! Here I leave a different recipe I posted already here, but also deliciosaaaaaa !! Ingredients: 20g bakers yeast 1dl milk (I used Terra Nostra) 400gr flour 60gr butter (I used Terra Nostra) 80g sugar Zest of 1 orange 1 pinch of fine salt 2 eggs 1 dl of port wine (I used Red Tear Ramos Pinto) 200gr 200gr of dried fruit chopped candied fruit decoration Ingredients: 1 egg for brushing 80g dried fruit 200g of candied fruit jelly fruit to glaze Icing sugar for dusting Preparation: - Start by dissolving the baker's chrome table bases yeast in milk warm. - Next, mix the remaining ingredients with the exception of dried fruit and candied fruit. - Knead well until the dough comes loose hands. - Let stand about 20 minutes. - Then wrap all the fruits (dried chrome table bases and crystallized), knead a little longer and let stand for 20 minutes in warm place. - Cast a crown and arrange it in a greased baking tray with butter and sprinkled with flour. - Allow to rise in warm place until almost doubled in volume. - At that time, brush with beaten egg. - Sprinkle with remaining nuts, garnish with candied fruits and light the oven to 200 , about 35 minutes. - After removing from oven, let cool slightly and brush with jam. - Finally sprinkle with powdered sugar.
